So this is my first Post. Hello everyone out there. My name is Noel, the fatkidwalking. I'm making this journal for my future trip from NH to FL. I'll be walking the entire way, no cars, hotels, cheating, just me and the 1402+ miles. I'm doing something so 'drastic' mainly to prove to myself I can, to get in shape, and because im moving to Saint Pete's anyway, what better way to get there than to walk. So thats what I plan to do. While I am out on my walk I will have a Mobile Sidekick to Update everyone on my journeys, update my livejournal, and to let everyone know im still alive. Here comes the tricky part. I'm not really sure how i'm going to afford the basic supplies needed for the journey, such as a Pack, Sleeping bag, Tent, Food expensese and Emergency shelter if need be. So far I have raised 135$ in my town by just word of mouth and self promotion, but it just isnt enough. So im hitting up the LJ to ask people for there support. a 2$ donation is still a donation and anything will help my cause. Thanks and glad to have visitors. I will be updating weekly until my Launch sometime im mid april. |
